About
Antonio Autenzio
I am an Italian photographer who grew up in the very center of Paris sharing a single room with my family. This small place which was supposed to be a temporary solution when we arrived in France became finally our official home.

In order to escape the smallness of this room located in Saint Denis Street I started to go outside very young, spending most of my time in the street. I grew up in this busy area near Les Halles observing closely the life and activity of the world of adults.

This daily routine led me naturally to photography around the age of 10 and then I got my very first camera which was an Instamatic Kodak. I can say honestly that I started my passion for photography being disappointed by every shot I made...

Then, at 16, as I was working, I bought an Olympus OM1 and I began making my own silver prints. That was a revelation for me.
Since that time, I have never stopped taking pictures in the streets.
Equipment
Films
I love using my Leica M6 for its discretion.
For the 6x6 I enjoy using the Rolleiflex T, the Hasselblad 501cm, and the very nice Lomo LC-A 120.

My favourites films are the Tri-X 400 and the T-MAX.

Most of my black and white pictures have been shooted with these films.
Digital
I mainly work with Nikon cameras.
Today, I really enjoy working with the Z series.
